Pipe Internal Coating Mill

This plant was commissioned in 2006 for coating of pipes including: oil, gas and water transmission lines in 8-100 in. diameters in accordance with international standards such as API RP 5L2, AWWC 210 and customer requirement. In coating process, first, internal surface of pipe is washed out and dried by gaseous torches. Then it is blasted up to SA 2 1/2 in shut blast stations and pipe is guided to painting station where coating with hot two-component solvent free epoxy is applied on the surface of pipe by specific sprays guns. After drying of the paint, pipe is tested by holiday detection system. If the coating quality is acceptable, pipes can be delivered to the customer.
